The first fixture of the new Midlands season will be at Revesby Park on 19th January 2020 and the Committee are pleased to announce some changes to the course. Revesby is a square course of about 1 mile in length, set in old parkland near Boston, im Lincolnshire. For the 2020 renewal the course will run left-handed with 18 efforts in total. A fun night was had by all last weekend at Newark Showground where The South Notts Hunt Point-to-Point hosted their annual Final Furlong Ball incorporating the Midlands Awards Presentations. 160 point-to-point enthusiasts sat down to a scrumptious 4-course meal which included sirloin of beef which was carved at the table. The Meynell and South Staffordshire meeting is the traditional conclusion of the Midlands Area point-to-point season and takes place this Saturday, 1st June, at Garthorpe racecourse, just east of Melton Mowbray.
