Following an inspection at 10.00am today, Sunday 25th January, meeting ABANDONED.
The recent rain has made the course infrastructure so wet and unsafe that the latest forecasts give no chance or optimism for any recovery/improvement to make it FIT & SAFE to race.
The course has taken the rain but other key areas simply have not.
This is disappointing for all but hopefully the early decision, whilst inevitable, is appreciated.
