Race 1: The Brocklesby and Lincolnshire Hunts HUNT MEMBERS, SUBSCRIBERS & FARMERS Race, 3m
For the BROCKLESBY 200 CUP. The COUNTESS OF YARBOROUGH CUP to be presented to the owner of the first horse past the post with a Brocklesby Hunter Certificate to be ridden by a Brocklesby Member or Subscriber. Memento to the winning jockey. Trophy to be presented to the first horse past the post in the heavy weight division carrying 13st or over
PRIZE MONEY: 1st £200, 2nd £120, 3rd £80. Total Prize Fund £400
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:For Horses with a current registered Hunter Certificate issued by the Brocklesby, Burton, South Wold Hunts. To be owned or trained or ridden by a hunt member, subscriber, farmer or landowner in the respective hunt countries. Heavyweight division will be 13st – max weight 13st 10lbs. Horses to run in the heavyweight division will be checked by vets and stewards before being allowed to run.
RIDER CONDITIONS:The Master(s), Members, subscribers and farmers, or their respective spouses or children, of the Brocklesby Hunt / Burton Hunt / South Wold Hunt, or a rider that has paid a one day cap of £100 to Brocklesby / Burton / South Wold.
PENALTIES: Non-Heavyweights only: A winner of a Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the rules of any recognized racing authority (Point-to-Points included) at any time; for one such win 3lb extra, for 2 wins 5lb extra, for 3 or more wins 7lb extra. For wins since 1st October 2023; an extra 3lb for each such win. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb.
